Caión (Galicia - Spain)

"I was happy anywhere I could see the ocean"
Ai Yazawa

Without the sea, Caión would probably not exist.
Off the coast of this small Galician village, whales were once fished and the ancient maritime tradition has shaped the urban settlement stretching, almost entirely, towards the Atlantic Ocean.
Its beach, As Salseiras, is one of the most beautiful on the Costa da Morte.
